Amanda Heyland

All types of design can be beautiful, if well executed. As a fan of a broad range of interior design styles, Amanda grounds her designs in practicality and works with her clients’ imaginations to create a space that’s perfectly tailored to them.

Amanda’s journey into design began with a passion for the technical aspects, so space planning and layout are naturally among her favorite endeavors. The proper aesthetic selections for color, tone and material can enhance a well-conceived space, and bring it to the next level.

Amanda graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a degree in Interior Architecture and is accredited by the Council for Interior Design (CIDA).

Prior to her time at Normandy, Amanda was a designer for a luxury Chicago home builder. This experience honed her ability to create high end looks on a more modest budget, thrilling her clients.

Amanda has lived in the Chicagoland area her entire life, and embraces the down-to-earth sensibilities of fellow Midwesterners. An artist at heart, Amanda enjoys oil painting in her spare time and spending time with her Lop Eared Rabbit and two Parrots.
