Marketing & Event Coordinator

If you love interacting with people, and creating fun videos, podcasts and social media posts, then this is the job for you.  We’re one of the country’s largest home remodeling companies, and we create amazing home additions, beautiful new kitchens, and stunning whole home renovations.  We’re looking for someone to join our team to help show Chicagoland how amazing their house can be, and show how our talented staff is here to make that a reality.

This job will be part of a small marketing team, and consists primarily of events and digital content creation.

At our events, we reach out to prospective customers, typically on Saturdays, some evenings and the occasional Sunday, to answer their questions and help them in their home improvement journey.  You will attend and host or facilitate these events, typically in the Evanston or Hinsdale areas, but occasionally throughout Chicago and the suburbs.  You must be comfortable talking with prospective customers, eager to learn about our industry, and possess a helpful disposition.

In addition to events and general marketing assistance, you will be part of our content creation team and will be responsible for creating or editing a significant amount of online content, including photos, videos and podcasts. Prior experience with social media platforms and content creation tools is required, as are excellent communication skills. If you have prior experience with content marketing or SEO, that would be a plus.

This is a great opportunity to build your marketing knowledge and skills, working closely with the Director of Marketing in a challenging and deadline driven environment.


  • Marketing or Public Relations background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and more chairs, tables and various other equipment for events
  • Experience with content creation computer programs (ex: Adobe suite), as well as social media platforms
  • Must have your own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
