Marketing Coordinator

When you decided to get into marketing, this is the kind of job you hoped you would get. Sharing stories and images of gorgeous home renovations, representing a company you can be proud to call your own, reasonable hours, creative challenges without the stress, passionate co-workers, and the opportunity to learn and grow across nearly every area of Marketing.

Normandy Remodeling is one of the largest home remodeling companies in the country, and still growing. We specialize in major home remodels and additions across Chicagoland with a reputation for high quality construction, exceptional customer service, and stunning design. Our company has been featured on the cover of magazines, earned dozens of design awards, and currently holds a 96% customer satisfaction rating.

Our marketing challenge is to help people along their journey of deciding what to do with their house, and who to trust with the work. This is where you come in.

As a member of a small team, you’ll get to flex your creative muscles in nearly every aspect of marketing, making each day a unique challenge. In this position you will be responsible for content creation, graphic design, video production, social media, events, blogs, and more. In return, you’ll gain the knowledge, experience and know-how that can’t be gained at an agency.

You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing, who is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience to make you an even stronger marketer. You’ll be given direction and guidance, as well as the freedom and autonomy to create your best work. Whether you want to sharpen your video creation skills, indulge your inner Hemmingway, or shake hands and chat with homeowners, we let your interests and passions guide the way, letting you take an active role in your professional development.

We’re currently expanding our physical presence beyond our Hinsdale location, to better serve our North Shore clientele. Your role will include events at our soon-to-be-completed Evanston showroom, as well as the surrounding areas.

Day to day, you’ll be at our Hinsdale office, working with our talented designers and architects to create content that helps and inspires our future customers.

Occasional evenings, many Saturdays and some Sundays are required, but in exchange you’ll find a flexible comp-time structure that allows you to make the most of your time-off.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Public Relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with content creation software (ex: Adobe Suite) as well as social media platforms
