The National Kitchen and Bath Association held for the first time this year, a competition to determine the “2013 30 Under 30.” The remodeling professionals under 30, carefully selected from hundreds of nominees, that the industry should take note of. “We are excited to present our 30 Under 30 young professionals at KBIS 2013,” says Nancy Barnes, NKBA Director of Learning & Development. “They’re more than just the voice of the next generation of kitchen and bath professionals; they are also enthusiastic entrepreneurs, forward-thinking CEOs, and cutting-edge designers – and all are still in their 20s.”
We are thrilled to announce that Normandy Designer Jennifer Runner made the list as a cutting edge designer who’s on top of her game now, with the best yet to come. “It is such an honor to be recognized on this sort of national platform,” commented Jennifer, “Design is my passion and I’ve always been very determined to stay on top of the industry’s hottest trends and products. It’s definitely easier to do that with Normandy’s support system. Normandy provides an environment that gives me ample opportunities to learn about products and techniques, and truly thrive in the design world.”
Jennifer is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design. She then went on to earn an Associate of Kitchen and Bathroom Design Degree (AKBD). Jennifer has been at Normandy for four years now, and in that time has been featured in various publications and won multiple awards for her designs.
