2011 Master Design Award

Victorian Prior to the additionThis stately Victorian style home was recently returned to its original glory, along with some noteworthy improvements, thanks to the talents of Normandy’s Troy Pavelka.

One of the most obvious changes to the home was the addition of the copper turret on the home’s facade.  Perhaps more noteworthy, is the catherine176significant addition on the rear of the home that is nearly impossible to spot.  While the addition of the two car garage and master suite above is easy to see when comparing side-by-side photos, the detail of the execution makes it nearly impossible to determine where the original home ended and the addition begins.

This addition and renovation was recognized with a Gold Master Design Award from Qualified Remodeler Magazine in the category of Historic Restoration.  You can read more about this amazing La Grange remodel, or find more home addition inspiration in our photo gallery.
