Client Services Specialist

  • As our Client Services Specialist, you will be responsible for:

    • • Discussing potential remodeling projects with customers in-person and over the phone to determine if their remodeling needs are a good fit for our services
    • • Management of our customer gift programs
    • • Administrative support tasks for our design, architecture, construction, and accounting departments
    • • Supporting our showroom and design team as needed including:
    • o Greeting customers, vendors and guests
    • o Assisting in events, occasionally on evenings and Saturdays at both our Evanston and Hinsdale locations



    A large portion of your time will be spent talking with customers on the phone or in-person about their potential remodeling projects. We will provide training about the design-build remodeling experience that we offer, although you will find that an eagerness to learn about the interior design world and an enthusiasm about home renovations will lead to a deeper level of satisfaction and success in your role.

    You will create our customers’ first impression of our organization so a friendly, polished, and professional demeanor is a must.

    To be successful in this role you should have:
    • 5+ years experience in customer service or customer facing interactions
    • 2+ years experience in an administrative or data entry capacity
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Clear, intelligible speech
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to lift 25 pounds

    This position is full-time, onsite at our Hinsdale office & Design Studio. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday from 8AM to 5PM, although an occasional evenings or Saturdays may be needed at either our Hinsdale or Evanston Design Studios.

Architectural Designer

    Design development support – Work hand-in-hand with our design development department who create beautiful 3-D photo realistic renderings of your design work.

    Selections support – Need help and support in making selections for your clients? We have two full-time design support team members whose focus is on helping you find the finishing touches that put your projects over the top.

    Online & in-person – Hybrid work platform means you can work in the office, at a design studio, or at home as best suits your needs. Client meetings can take place at a design studio or online as the clients and meeting needs dictate.

    No construction documents – Our in-house architecture department creates all construction documents, not you.

    Easy project pricing – Working with our pricing software, you’ll provide preliminary budget estimates for the project that you design.

    Design build – Normandy construction superintendents are on-site for your clients’ remodels daily, providing you and the client with nightly progress updates. Working together as a team, you problem-solve, collaborate and create together.

    Architecture / Design Background – Preferably residential design, licensing is not required.

    CAD – AutoCad, Chief Architect, Sketchup or similar proficiency would be preferred.

Kitchen And Bath Designer

Normandy Design Build Remodeling is looking for the newest member of our sales and design department as a Kitchen and Bath designer.   • Your responsibilities will include

    – Meeting with clients to develop design ideas for their home that suits their needs and their budget

    – Computing budget ranges and price estimates for the project that you proposed

    – Selecting and recommending finishes and products for the newly proposed space

    – Serving as a consultant to our clients and manage the relationship with homeowners, from initial contact through the construction of their project

    – Partnering with our in-house architecture and drafting team, and with our project superintendents, to ensure a successful home renovation

Residential Construction Superintendent

Normandy Design Build Remodeling is looking to add someone to our team with a real passion for residential construction, and who loves working with people. If you’ve worked in residential construction or remodeling, and are ready for a change, this job is right for you.

Normandy Remodeling exclusively performs residential additions and major remodeling, and the superintendent is a critical member of our team. Your role is to make the designer’s vision come to life, while working daily with customers who are living through construction. Superintendents typically cover a general geographic territory, and we’re currently searching for someone to assist our clients in Chicago and the Near North Suburbs.

  • You will be responsible for

    – Scheduling, supervising and managing various trades for multiple jobs at a time.

    – Communicating daily with each customer, keeping them updated about the job’s progress, answering questions and managing their expectations.

    – Making daily site visits to each of your customers’ homes to coordinate the tradespeople, solve any problems, and address any customer questions or concerns.

    The service and experience that customers receive during construction leaves a lasting impression, and successful communication and execution of the project is critical to creating happy customers, which in turn creates a strong referral base. Normandy Designers begin the relationship with the clients, and maintain the client relationship throughout construction. However, Superintendents are the primary source of contact for customers during the construction phase of their project. Our staff of architects and our expediters will support you with plans and purchasing assistance for each project.

    Compensation: Our project superintendents earn $55,000-$65,000 base salary, plus performance based bonus opportunities that finds many earning $85,000 or more. Production Coordinator
